Philip J. Lahey, Jr., M.D. – Retired

Born, raised and educated in Worcester, Dr. Lahey has practiced sports medicine in our community for nearly 30 years.

After graduating from The College of the Holy Cross, Dr. Lahey earned his medical degree from Tufts University Medical School. He completed the Harvard orthopedic residency at Boston City Hospital and Mass General Hospital. Dr. Lahey also completed his fellowship at Mass General Hospital through Harvard Medical School.

Upon completing his residency at Mass General Hospital, Dr. Lahey joined his father’s Worcester-based orthopedic practice in 1979.

In addition to his responsibilities with Worcester County Orthopedics, Dr. Lahey serves as team physician for Holy Cross athletics.

Dr. Lahey and his wife Kathy reside in Worcester. They have three children, Phil, Ann and Tim.
